Hot potato
Sit in a circle with a ball or a cushion. Tap Start, then pass it fast!
How to play
- Sit in a circle. One player taps Start and passes the "potato" (a ball, cushion or soft toy) to the next player.
- Pass fast while the phone ticks. With a topic, say one thing (no repeats) before you pass.
- Pop! Whoever holds it loses the round (do a silly move or lose a point). No throwing or grabbing.
The potato pops after a random time inside the length you pick (short 6–15 s, medium 10–30 s, long 20–45 s); the ticking speeds up near the end. Whoever holds it loses the round; nobody is out. Nothing is saved.
Ideas for using it
- Birthday parties and sleepovers: sit in a circle, pass a ball or a cushion, and nobody knows when it pops.
- Rainy day at home: add a topic ("name an animal, a food…") so kids think fast as well as pass fast.
- In class: pass a paper ball; whoever holds it at the pop answers the teacher's question.
