Hot Potato
Name one thing on the topic, then pass the “bomb”. The ticking speeds up… Boom!
How many players?
Names (optional) Add names so turns are called by name
First names or nicknames, saved only on this phone. Pick a kid’s age so the youngest goes first and quiz cards fit each kid; tick “Adult” for grown-ups: they get harder words to act out and no kids-only topics.
How old is the youngest player?
Cards follow the youngest player.
Hot Potato game for kids: pass it on a topic, random boom
Sit in a circle with a ball or a cushion as the “bomb”. The phone names a topic, like “Animals”. Whoever holds the bomb names an animal nobody said yet, then passes it on. The ticking speeds up… Boom! The holder does a funny move.
2 players
Pass it back and forth fast, naming one thing each time. Rounds are short, so play a few.
3 players
Sit in a triangle and pass one way. The youngest may name easier things, like colours.
4 or more players
With 4 or more, sit in a circle and pass clockwise. No throwing and no grabbing the bomb.

Questions parents ask
Do we pass the phone around?
No. The phone stays on the table and ticks; you pass a ball or a soft cushion.
Do we need to hold or watch the phone?
No. The phone reads aloud and moves on by itself. Turn on hands-free and pick 🌙 Screen dim: the screen goes black but keeps talking, so lay it face down and listen.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's free, with no sign-up and no ads, and your kids' names stay on your phone.
