Names (optional) Add names so turns are called by name
First names or nicknames, saved only on this phone. Pick a kid’s age so the youngest goes first and quiz cards fit each kid; tick “Adult” for grown-ups: they get harder words to act out and no kids-only topics.
How old is the youngest player?
Cards follow the youngest player.
Word chain game for kids: how to play with 2, 3 or 4+
The phone shows a start word. Taking turns, each player says a word that starts with the last letter of the word before: cat → tiger → rabbit. Each turn has a short timer, and a repeat or a miss ends the chain. For little kids, rounds are lists instead: everyone names one animal, no repeats.
2 players
Go back and forth as fast as you can. Two players make long chains quickly, so try to beat your longest chain in the next round. Tap 💡 for ideas when you're stuck.
3 players
Go round the circle, youngest first. Each player gets 10 seconds, and kids aged 8 and under get 15. The family decides together if a word counts.
4 or more players
With 4 or more, the circle gets longer and repeats get harder to avoid. Listen well! Tap ✓ for each good word; the phone counts the links of the whole family.

Ages 7 and up, grown-ups included. When the youngest is 8 or under, most rounds are lists (name one fruit each, no repeats), which need no spelling. Older kids get the real letter chain.
What counts as a good word?
A real word that starts with the right letter and wasn't said in this chain yet. The family decides together; names of people and made-up words don't count.
How long does a game take?
A game is 3 chains, about 5 to 6 minutes. In Family Game Night it plays 1 to 3 chains, depending on the time you picked.
What do we need, and is it free?
