Draw a secret word on paper, no letters allowed. The family shouts guesses!

How many players?

Names (optional) Add names so turns are called by name

First names or nicknames, saved only on this phone. Pick a kid’s age so the youngest goes first and quiz cards fit each kid; tick “Adult” for grown-ups: they get harder words to act out and no kids-only topics.

How old is the youngest player?

Cards follow the youngest player.

Drawing and guessing game for kids: how to play with 2, 3 or 4+

Get paper and a pen. The drawer secretly sees a word on the phone and draws it: no letters, numbers, talking or gestures. Everyone else shouts guesses. Tap ✓ for each word guessed or swap a hard one. One minute per turn, and every drawing counts for the family.

2 players

One draws, the other guesses; then swap. Each player draws twice, about seven minutes in all. Quick, simple shapes work best: a circle and some rays make a sun.

3 players

One player draws and the other two race to guess. Each player draws once. Guessers can work together and shout ideas, and every word adds to the family score.

4 or more players

With 4 or more, everyone guesses at once, which gets loud and funny. Little ones draw first. Use a big sheet of paper so everyone around the table can see it.

Questions parents ask

What age is it for?

Ages 6 and up, grown-ups included. Words follow the youngest player's age: simple things like a fish or a house for 6–8, harder ones for older kids. Little kids get 75 seconds instead of 60.

What do we need?

One phone, some paper and a pen or pencil. Any scrap paper works. Keep a few sheets ready, because a turn can fill a page fast.

Does the clock run while the drawer reads the next word?

No. After each ✓ or swap the clock pauses, the drawer looks at the next word in private, then taps to keep drawing.

Is it free?
