Forehead Guess

Phone on your forehead: everyone gives clues, you guess the word.

How many players?

Names (optional) Add names so turns are called by name

First names or nicknames, saved only on this phone. Pick a kid’s age so the youngest goes first and quiz cards fit each kid; tick “Adult” for grown-ups: they get harder words to act out and no kids-only topics.

How old is the youngest player?

Cards follow the youngest player.

Forehead guessing game for kids: how to play with 2, 3 or 4+

One player holds the phone on their forehead, screen facing out, and can't see the word. Everyone else gives clues or acts it out. Tap the top half for a word guessed, the bottom half to pass. One minute per turn, and every word counts for the family.

2 players

One holds the phone, the other gives clues; then swap. Two rounds each take about five minutes. Describe what the thing does, its colour or its sound, but never say the word or part of it.

3 players

One player guesses, the other two give clues together: one can describe while the other acts. Each player gets one turn, and every word adds to the family score.

4 or more players

With 4 or more, everyone gives clues at once, which gets loud and funny. Take turns clockwise so little ones go first. Want it calmer? Let only one person give clues per word.

Questions parents ask

What age is it for?

Ages 6 and up, grown-ups included. Words follow the youngest player's age: everyday animals and things for 6–8, a bit harder words for older kids. Kids who can't read yet can still guess, because the others do the reading.

Do we have to tilt the phone?

No. Tapping is the default: top half (left half when the phone is sideways) for a word guessed, bottom (right) half to pass. On the rules card you can turn on tilt scoring if your phone allows it.

How long does a game take?

Each turn is 60 seconds. With 2 players everyone plays twice, with 3 or more once each, so a game takes about 5 to 8 minutes. In Family Game Night it can open or close the evening.

What do we need, and is it free?
